Interphase Takes On Desktop Virtualization

Plano-based Interphase, the developer of networking hardware products, is expanding its line of products into the cloud computing and desktop virtualization market. The firm said today that it has rolled out a new, private-cloud based desktop virtualization product line called clouDevice. The firm said the product is aimed at schools, business entities, and government agencies. The firm is rolling out initially through Carrollton, Texas-based reseller M & A Technology. The new product supports VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure), Citrix XenApp, Windows MultiPoint Server, as well as other desktop virtualization products.
