Innovapptive Raises $1.5M

Houston-based software startup Innovapptive, a developer of mobile workforce management software, said this morning that it has raised $1.5M in a funding round. The funding came from the Hyderabad Angels (HA), an angel investment group from Hyderabad, India, which recently launched a US chapter. Kishore Ganji from Hyderabad Angels will join Innovapptive's board of directors. The investment appears to be among the first, direct investment in a U.S. company by the angel group, which is one of the most active angel investment groups in India. Innovapptive says it has over 150 employees split between the US, Germany, and India.
