Infochimps Names New CEO

Austin big data technology and API developer Infochimps has installed a new CEO, the firm said this week. Infochimps said it has named Jim Kaskade to the CEO positions, replacing co-founder Joe Kelly, and also setting up a beachhead in Silicon Valley. Kelly returns as Chief Operating Officer in Austin. Kaskade was most recently an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Xerox PARC, and also has served at SIOS Technology, StackIQ, and Teradata. The company said that Kaskade will remain in Silicon Valley.
