IDEV Technologies Grabs $46M

Webster, Texas-based IDEV Technologies, a developer of minimally invasive stents for treating arterial disease, said today that it has raised a $46M, Series D round of funding. According to the firm, the round was led by Piper Jaffray & Co.'s Merchant Banking Fund (PJC Capital LLC), two un-named, global health companies, as well as prior investors PTV Sciences, Bay City Capital, RiverVest Venture Partners and Heron Capital. IDEV said the funding will go towards clinical trials for its self-expanding SUPERA stent, as well as other clinical trial and development efforts. More information »
