Dallas-based IDENTEC Solutions, a manufacturer of wireless tracking and tracing devices, reported Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of Norwegian firm Wtek, a producer of RFID-enabled safety equipment for the oil, gas and mining industries. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. IDENTEC noted that, with the acquisition of Wtek, it has gained a foothold in the growing market of worker safety and security.
