i2's Sidhu Leaves As Chairman

i2 Technologies Inc., a Dallas-based provider of supply chain management services, reported Wednesday that founder Sanjiv Sidhu will step down as chairman of the company's board of directors. Jackson L. Wilson Jr., who has served on i2's board since April 2005, will succeed Sidhu as executive chairman, the company said, adding that Sidhu will remain on the board as chairman emeritus. Prior to his i2 involvement, Wilson was chief executive officer of Accenture's Business Process Outsourcing division until retiring in August 2004. Before that, he served as managing general partner of Accenture Technology Ventures, Accenture's venture capital arm. In related news, i2 said its Strategic Review Committee is continuing its self-evaluation and to explore strategic alternatives despite a preliminary finding that the company's business is "very solid."
