Hyper Wear Scores Angel Funding

Austin-based Hyper Wear, a developer of fitness equipment and weights, said Tuesday that it has raised funding from the Central Texas Angel Network (CTAN), Concho Valley Angel Network (CVAN), Baylor Angel Network (BAN), Joel Trammell, CEO of CacheIQ and co-founder of NetQoS, and William E. Simon, Jr. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. As part of the funding, Joel Trammell joins the company's board of directors.
