Hyper9 Hires R&D VP

Austin-based Hyper9, a developer of software for managing virtualized servers, said Wednesday that it has hired on Bill Kennedy as the firm's Senior Vice President of Research and Development. According to Hyper9, Kennedy has previously served at Waveset. Hyper9 is venture backed by Venrock, Matrix Partners, Silverton Partners and Maples Investments.
