HostGator Upgrades Dedicated Servers

Houston-based web hosting provider HostGator announced this morning that it has launched an upgraded line of dedicated servers, which it says are more than four times faster than its prior offering. According to HostGator, the new dedicated servers used new SSD (solid state) disk drives, and Intel Xeon-D 1541 processors. The company said its upgrades provide its customers with the ability to handle significantly more traffic to their websites. HostGator is owned by Endurance International Group.
