HomeAway Launches New Product

Austin-based HomeAway, the online vacation rental marketplace, is expanding its lineup of products, saying Friday that it has launched a new product called Overview, aimed at smaller vacation rental companies. The firm said the new software helps property managers manage online reservations, automate correspondence with guests an downers, generate reports, and more. HomeAway said the new product costs $995 for a one-time setup fee, plus $7.95 per reservations, and $99 a month for tech support and hosting. The new software comes out of the firm's HomeAway Software for Professionals unit, which is headed by Bill Furlong.
