HomeAway Helps Users With Event Ticketing, Child Care

Austin-based vacation rental marketplace HomeAway said this morning that it has linked up its mobile app with a number of partners, to make it easier to find child care and purchase tickets to events and attractions while on vacation. HomeAway said the capabilities come via deals with Care.com, Ticket Evolution and GetYourGuide. Financial details of the mobile integration was not announced. The company said the partnerships are part of an effort to give its users a "concierge-like" service.
