HomeAway Gets Investment From Google

Austin-based HomeAway, the online vacation travel marketplace, has scored a big vote of confidence from Google, and has taken an investment from Google's venture capital arm, Google Ventures, according to the New York Times today. According to the report, Google has purchased an ownership stake from existing shareholders in HomeAway. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed.
