HEI Rolls Storage, Virtualization Products

San Antonio-based HEI Systems & Solutions, an IT solutions provider, said yesterday that it has released two products targeted at the virtualization market. HEI said it has rolled out a new storage product and server specifically aimed at the market, the R3000 Storage Server and R3000x Integrated Storage and Virtualization Server. The firm's new storage product supports up to 3 terabytes of storage in a 1U rack; the firm's R3000x server uses Supermicro 1U machines coupled with the same storage setup.
