Harland Clarke's Scantron Buys Education Technology Firm

San Antonio-based Harland Clarke Holdings Corp. said today that one of its subsidiaries, Scantron Corporation, has acquired another educational technology company, GlobalScholar. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. GlobalScholar's products help manage the learning cycle of K-12 students, teachers, parents, and educational administrators. Harland Clarke itself is a subsidiary of M & F Worldwide.
