Green & Grow Gains $6M

Austin-based Green & Grow Inc. (GCI), a developer of agricultural technology used to improve crops, has raised $6M in a series B funding. The funding came from Otter Capital. Green & Grow, which is led by Alan Sobba, says it is developing microbe derive by-products which helps improve the yield of many crops. The company is applying its technology for corn, soybean, and other crops. The company sells its product under the Agriplier name. GGI said it was represented by Sidley Austin LLP in the funding deal. More information »
