GoMedigap Acquired By eHealth

Austin-based GoMedigap, which operates an online marketplace for Medicare Supplement plans, has by acquired by Silicon Valley-based online health insurance exchange operator eHealth. According to eHealth, it paid $30M in cash and common stock, plus up to an additional $30M in earnout, for GoMedigap (Health, Wealth and Life Advisors, LLC). GoMedigap's co-CEOs are Richard Cantu and Kevin Walbrick. According to eHealth, GoMedigap will continue to be based at its location in Round Rock.
