GodTube Becomes, Gets Investment

Plano-based, a faith-based video sharing site, has renamed itself, saying this morning that it is now looking to appeal to audiences looking for family-friendly, safe social networking. Reason for the name change was not given, however, said it will be headed by new CEO Jason Illian, and look to allow members to share videos, photos, blogs, music, and more. The firm also disclosed that it has received an investment in 2008 from Dick Kovacevich, chairman of Wells Fargo, who has also joined the company's board of directors. More information »
