Globalscape Sets Bindseil As New CEO

San Antonio-based file transfer software developer Globalscape said late Wednesday that it has named James Bindseil, the company's Interim President, to the post of President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Bindseil also has been appointed to the company's board of directors. Bindseil has been at Globalscape since 2010, and also previously served at such companies as Fujitsu, Symantec, and AXENT Technologies. Bindseil had been named interim president after the sudden loss of Globalscape's CEO in October.
