GENBAND Wins Eastex Telephone

Plano-based GENBAND has scored a win with rural Texas carrier Eastex Telephone Coop, GENBAND said this morning. According to GENBAND, Eastex is using the firm's C15 Compact Softswitch. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. GENBAND says its equipment is going into more than twenty central offices as part of an Eastex network expansion. Eastex covers Rusk, Panola, Cherokee, Shelby, Harrison, Hardin, Liberty, Tyler, San Jacinto, Polk and Walker.
