GENBAND Wins Cable Operator

Frisco-based GENBAND reports this morning that it has been selected by cable operator Suddenlink Communications. GENBAND said Suddenlink, the seventh largest cable operator in the United States, is migrating the infrastructure of recently acquired NPG Cable to GENBAND's S3 Session Border Controller and A2 Converged Application Server. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed.
