Genband Takes Number One In WSJ Top Startups List

Look out, Silicon Valley: the Wall Street Journal's ranking of the top 50, U.S. venture-backed companies has named a Texas company--Frisco-based Genband, as number one in the list. Genband--which makes IP telecommunications equipment--took the top position, above dozens of high profile. California and Silicon Valley startups. The WSJ's list of startups attempts to identify start-ups that could become the "Next Big Thing." No other Texas startup made the list.
