GENBAND Gets Win In Taiwan

Plano, Texas-based GENBAND said today that its IP gateways have been deployed by Chunghwa Telecom, a provider of telecommunications products in Taiwan. GENBAND said that Chunghwa has deployed its M6 Communications Application Server for its enterprise and residential users; the deal is a part of an install by GENBAND partner Phitech Corporation. Size and financial impact of the install were not disclosed by the firm. GENBAND is a developer of IP gateway and application platforms used for deploying multimedia over wired, mobile, and cable networks.
