Freescale Names VP, GM

Austin-based Freescale Semiconductor said Friday that the firm has named Dr. Reza Kazerounian as Senior Vice President and General Manager of its Microcontroller Solutions Group. Freescale said that Kazerounian joins the firm from STMicroelectronics, where he was President and CEO. Kazerounian has also served at WaferScale Integration, which was acquired by STMicroelectronics in September of 2000.
