Former Dell CEO Rollins Joins TPG Capital

Fort Worth, Texas-based TPG Capital said Wednesday that Kevin B. Rollins, who was most recently President and CEO of Dell, has joined the firm as Senior Advisor. TPG Capital is a private investment firm focused on buyouts. Rollins served at Dell for eleven years, and also served at Bain & Company. Rollins left Dell in January, when he was replaced by Dell founder Michael Dell. TPG Capital said that Rollins will identify investment opportunities and will be a key contributor to ongoing management of TPG's technology investment portfolio.
