Famigo Rolls Out Tablet Software

Austin-based Famigo, the developer of kid-friendly apps to help provide a safe environment for kids on mobile devices, is expanding into the tablet market today. The company said it has launched its own, tablet software aimed at elementary school students and teachers called Famigo EDU. The company said the tablet software is designed to help teacher find content and send them directory to students on the new tablet, for a customzied learning experience. Famigo says that it is piloting the tablet software in four schools in Texas.
