Everfest Gets $3.6M For Online Festival Search Service

Austin-based Everfest, led by Jay Manickam, has raised $3.6M in a funding round, led by Live Nation Entertainment and ATX Seed Ventures, the company said on Thursday. Bob Kagle, a venture capitalist at Benchmark Capital, also participated in the funding. As part of the funding, Charlie Walker of C3 Presents, the company which runs Lollapalooza and ACL, along with ATX's Chris Shonk, both join the board of directors. Everlist has an online search engine which allows users to find thousands of festivals across 97 countries.
