Entrust Wins Malaysia

Dallas-based Entrust said yesterday that it has scored a win with the Malaysian government, where it will provider its ePassport technology to the country. Entrust did not disclose financial impact of the win, but said that the country's Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia agency will use the firm's PKI-based ePassport technology, in order to migrate to the International Civil Aviation Organization's (ICAO) Basic Access Control (BAC) standard.
