Entrust Ties With Check Point

Dallas-based Entrust, a provider of SSL certificates, said Wednesday that the firm has streamlined the purchase of its SSL VPN certificates to customers of Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. According to Entrust, users of Check Point's Connectra remote access gateway can now create certificates through a special URl page, simplifying purchase of the firm's certificates. Financial details of the collaboration were not disclosed by the firm. Entrust's certificates are used to ensure security and protection of connections into corporate networks.
