Entrust Taps Clickatell For Authentication
Dallas-based Entrust is looking to enterprise mobile messaging firm Clickatell on support for new, one-time mobile passcodes for authentication. According to Entrust, it will allow its users to send one-time passcodes to mobile devices, via SMS, in a relationship with Clickatell. Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed. The firms said their joint marketing agreement covers creation of one-time passcodes by Entrust IdentityGuard, which will be sent directly to a user's mobile phone through SMS services being provided by Clickatell's text messaging service. Clickatell provides SMS compatibility with mobile network operators across the world.
