Entrust Signs Financial Firm

Dallas-based online identity security firm Entrust Inc. reported Wednesday that it will provide SSL certificate services for a prominent regional banking institution. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Gabriel Jimenez, information security engineer for Zions Bancorporation, said his company will save $220,000 over the next two years by switching to Entrust. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, Zions operates more than 500 offices and 600 automated teller machines in 10 Western and Southwestern states.
