Embedded Software Firm Opens Dallas Facility

TapRoot Systems, a venture funded, Research Triangle Park, NC-based firm that develops embedded software for smartphones, said today that it is opneing up a new development office in Dallas, Texas. As part of the new office, the firm said it has hired Mike Linstrom as Vice President of Product Development. Linstrom will head up the firm's new development facilities and engineering team in Dallas. TapRoot develops smart phone software for Microsoft Windows Mobile, Linux Mobile, and Symbian operating system platforms.
