Eltek Valere Wins German Auto Firm

Richardson-based Eltek Valere, a developer of DC power supplies, said today that it has scored a contract from a German automobile manufacturer for a line of electric vehicles. Eltek Valere said its EV Powercharger 3000 high efficiency battery charger will be used for the un-named auto firm will go towards a high-volume concept line of electric vehicles. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Eltek valere's product is deisnged to be included within plug-in hybrid vehicles.
