Eltek Valere Gets Win At Blade Hardware Firm

Richardson, Texas-based Eltek Valere, a provider of DC power supplies for the data center market, said today that it has signed on Liquid Computing. According to Eltek Valere, Liquid Computing, which develops blade computing products, has standardized on the firm's Flatpack2 HE rectifier, used with DC power supplies. Eltek Valere's products are used to reduce data center power consumption needs; the firm is looking to apply DC power systems--which have previously been used in telecommunications centers to reduce power requirements--to data centers. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed.
