Eltek Valere Aims At Wireless Sites

Richardson-based Eltek Valere said earlier this week that it has rolled out a new product targeted at reducing power consumption and cooling at wireless cell sites. The firm said it has rolled out a new, 24V AC-DC power system which offers 95% peak efficiency, helping to lower the cost of operating the sites. The firm said the new product is part of its new green-line product strategy. Eltek Valere's products are used to provide DC power, which is more efficient from a power consumption point of view than typical AC power equipment. The firm says is sells more than $600M in DC power systems to the telecommunications and industrial markets every year.
