EDS Wins $245M Corrections Deal

Plano-based EDS reported this morning that the firm has scored a $245 million, 4.5 year agreement with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. According to EDS--which is now owned by HP--the deal covers automation of the department's manual business processes. The project includes system integration and applications modernization, and a server environment for image capture and storage of information about offenders in the prison system.
