EDS Ties With Microsoft On Online Software

Plano-based EDS has inked a deal with Microsoft Corp., to help Microsoft market, integrate and deliver the firm's online business software. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. According to the two, EDS is the first reseller of Microsoft's online software, which includes hosted versions of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Office Communications, and Microsoft Live Meeting. The deal will also use HP hardware and server technology as the basis for the services. EDS is a subsidiary of HP.
