EA: Star Wars The Old Republic Hits 2M Copies

Electronic Arts said Wednesday that its title, Star Wars: The Old Republic, which was developed at its Austin studios, has now hit over 2 million copies sold. The firm claimed that the title is the fastest growing subscription MMO ever. EA said players have spent over 239 million in-game hours, and spent over 148 billion credits within the game. Star Wars: The Old Republic launched on December 20th; the company racked up about a million of those players during the first week of availability.
