DroneSense Finds New Funding From Thermal Imaging Camera Maker FLIR

Austin-based DroneSense a startup developing drone software for the public safety market, has scored a new funding round, from thermal imaging camera and sensor maker Flir. The two companies announced the investment deal earlier this week, but did not disclose any details on the size of the funding. DroneSense is developing software to help manage unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) which incorporate sensors such as FLIR's thermal imaging sensors. DroneSense's software helps manage everything from logging flight hours and tracking missions, to remote drone flight and other software.
