Diodes Acquires Zetex

Dallas, Texas-based Diodes Inc., said Friday that it has entered into a deal to purchase UK-based Zetex plc, a manufacturer of analog and discrete semiconductors. Diodes will pay $176M in cash for Zetex, which provides discrete and high performance analog semiconductor products for signal processing and power management. Diodes said the transaction is subject to approval of Zetex shareholders, and sanction by a court in the United Kingdom.
