Digital Realty Acquires Dallas Data Center

The data center and colocation industry continues to grow in Texas, as a San Francisco data center operator, Digital Realty Trust, said Monday that it has acquired a 819,000 square foot operating data center and office campus in Lewisville. Digital Realty Trust said it paid approximately $123.0M for the new center, which includes 168 acres, ten buildings, and 39 acres of land for future development. The Convergence Business Park currently has eight tenants and is 99 percent leased. The center's clients include CyrusOne and a financial services firm, among others.
