Digby Powers Local, Mobile Marketing For The Co-op
Texas Longhorns fans can now get special offers and promotions via the mobile apps for The University Co-op, thanks to a new effort with Austin-based mobile marketing software developer Digby. According to the two this morning, the Co-op has launched location-based marketing, analytics, and commerce within its iPhone and Android apps, thanks to its work with Digby. The two said the deal now allows users with the app to receive messages and promotions when they're near a University Co-op location, allowing customers to check into the store, receive special offers, ability to scan barcodes and QR codes at the store, and more. The two said the move comes through Digby's Localpoint Software Development Kit (SDK), which was recently integrated into The Co-op's iPhone and Android apps.
