DG FastChannel Signs Univision

Dallas-based DG FastChannel, a provider of systems used to manage digital media advertising for the broadcasting industry, said today that it has inked a deal to provide Univision Television Group with high-definition, advertising hardware. The firm said it will upgrade its Spot Box HD Xtreme servers at Univision-owned and operated Univision and TeleFutura affiliates, to provide support for HD commercials. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed.
