Dell Updates Multimedia Software

Round Rock-based Dell has launched an updated suite of multimedia software, the firm said this morning, which gives its customers to streaming music, videos, and photos. The firm said its updated Stage application--which runs on laptops, desktop, and Android mobile devices--now allows users to stream content from any Dell Stage-enabled deviced to another, or to DNLA-enabled big screen TVs and speakers. The firm also said the software also includes a networking feature called SyncUp, which will automatically synchronize files across supported devices in a home's Wi-Fi network.
