Dell Says Demand Stablizizing, Forecasts Future Growth
Round Rock-based computer maker Dell is reporting that the firm is seeing a stabilization in demand for its information-technology products, though the firm said that the demand varies depending on customer segment and geography. According to Dell, it is now seeing a "slight" sequential revenue increase in its Fiscal Q2 2010, which ends on July 31st. The firm said it is targeting 5-7 percent sales growth over the long term, although it says those results are dependent on global economic improvement and higher worldwide IT spending by its customers.
