Dell Looks To Drum Up Business With Zero Percent Financing

Round Rock-based computer maker Dell is looking to shake small and medium businesses out of their economic funk, saying it will offer zero percent financing to those businesses to buy computers from the firm. Citing a drop in the number of small business owners looking to make capital expenditures, the firm said it will provide zero percent, 36 month financing on certain Latitude laptops and PowerEdge servers. The new zero percent offer is a followup to a similar program the company announced for storage customers. According to Dell, the new financing will be open to customers spending more than $25,000 on certain laptops and servers, and will also include a $1 buy out on equipment at the end of the lease term.
