Dell Inks $22 Billion In Government Contracts

Round Rock-based Dell said Wednesday that it has racked up a huge, $22 billion contract from the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the United States General Services Administration (GSA), to provide IT services to those agencies. Dell said the 10-year contract will help the DHS in developing, maintaining, and implementing IT solutions. The award comes via a portion of a larger, $37.1 million contract from prime contractor AAC, which is providing IT services to the GSA. According to Dell, the work in the contracts will be executed at its Nashville, Tennessee and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma service centers.
