Dell Buys Everdream

Round Rock-based Dell said Thursday afternoon that it has agreed to buy Everdream, a provider of software-as-a-service products for remote service management. Financial terms were not disclosed. Everdream is based in Fremont, California with facilities in Charlotte, N.C. According to Dell, the acquisition is a part of its strategy to simplify IT environments; Everdream's products are used to remotely manage desktops, notebooks, and other end user devices.
