Dell Bolsters Healthcare Expertise

Round Rock-based Dell is bolstering its efforts in the healthcare market today, saying it has hired Andrew W. Litt, M.D. its Chief Medical Officer. Litt was most recently at Litt Healthcare Ventures, a consultant to private equity firms investing in healthcare companies. Litt reports to August Calhoun, Dell's VP of Healthcare and Life Sciences Services. Litt was also previously executive vice president, vice dean and chief of staff of New York University Langone Medical Center.
