Data Foundry Targets Hiring In Austin

Austin-based data center and colocation firm Data Foundry reported Thursday that it is boosting hiring in Austin, as it looks to spin up a new data center this summer. The firm said it is opening up a new, 250,000 square foot facility in June, which it says will offer fully redundant data center and disaster recovery services to companies in the region. The firm said the 40-acre, 100-megawatt data center will offer up everything from single caged cabinets to fully enclosed, secure data suites. The firm said it is looking to hire for numerous technical positions, including technical support and HVAC technicians. The firm is holding a job fair next Thursday, May 12th in Austin.
