Dallas Venture Firm Invests In Mobile Shopping Discovery

Naya Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm focused on India, has backed a developer of mobile shopping and discovery apps, Zoomingo. According to Zoomingo, which is based in Seattle, it raised $1.3M in a first round of funding from Naya Ventures and Benaroya Capital today. Naya, which is headed by Dayakar Puskoor, said it is focused on US and India-based companies in the mobile and SaaS areas. Naya's Texas offices are in Irving. More information »
